Yes, like everyone else in our family, Grryffin LOVES Red Wings hockey. During the playoffs, he has been known to carry around and chew on a stuffed animal toy that represents the opposing team's mascot. His favorites are a stuffed shark, duck, and especially a stuffed penguin that bears the number 87. During the regular season, he prefers to gnaw on a stuffed referee dog toy.

Week of May 14:

*Dear parents and students,
     I have been absent for several weeks with pneumonia. I am now back at school and Mrs. Hingst and the substitute teachers have done an awesome job of following the curriculum and ELA department plans and keeping my students on track in their progress. I have finished checking and recording in Power School all of the assignments that were completed and handed in during my absence. Today, students were given their corrected assignments and a copy of their current progress reports.

*Please visit the parent portal of power school to check on your child's progress often. The power of students knowing that their parents are watching their progress is amazing and I have seen it result in higher grades in every class.

* I am currently working to update this website with copies of the 4th Quarter assignments for your child's convenience in making up any missing assignments.
